Florence 2022

The ECIA General Assembly 2022 and celebration of the 30th Anniversary was a fabulous, inspiring event in a breathtaking environment! It took place 23-26 September in Florence, Italy, in the impressive monumental Sala degli specchi (Gallery of Mirrors) of the Palazzo Medici Riccardi (built in the 15th century). Not only all national organisations were represented, we also met many old and new friends. It was an honor to receive guests from IFI and ACE and last but not least, we welcomed a new ECIA member from France, le Pôle Action.

In the afternoon session, we changed the setting of the room, to facilitate the interesting round table discussions about the position of the Interior Architects towards the adaptive reuse of buildings and the support of research through establishing PhD courses in all European countries. Together with the lovely additional program, we can look back at a great weekend, well organised by our Italian member AIPi
