The Atlas Archive An ECIA Research Project
Remo Derungs is an interior architect, designer and scenographer. After having completed his studies at the School of Art and Design (HGK) in Zurich, he worked in the office of Peter Zumthor in Haldenstein and for Alfredo Häberli in Zurich. In 2000 together with Carmen Gasser Derungs, Remo Derungs founded his own ateliers for interior architecture and scenography in Zurich and Chur. For the past five years they have also acted as Artistic Directors of the exhibition institution Das Gelbe Haus Flims. Moreover he is a guest lecturer and critic in the field of interior architecture and exhibition design at the University of Applied Sciences (HTW) in Chur, the School of Art (SFGB) Bern/Biel and the School of Art and Design Lucerne (HSLU).
