News / VSI.ASAI. World Interiors Day 2018 in Zürich, Switzerland

Friday 25th of May 2018 VSI.ASAI. celebrated the World Interiors Day together with 250 guests at Kosmos in Zürich. Due to the European Year of Cultural Heritage the event was dedicated to the beginning of modern interior architecture in Switzerland and their pioneers.

The event opened with guided architecture tours through Kosmos with the architects Mark Burkhard und Andreas Lüthi from Burkhard & Lüthi Architektur. A presentation of Design & Design about the interior architecture pioneers followed and as every year, students from the four swiss design schools FHNW, HSLU, HEAD und SUPSI presented their diploma projects in an exhibition.

In a short film, produced by Matthias Kappeler, Trix and Robert Haussmann’s work was portraited and as the highlight of the evening, they were honored for their lifework in interior architecture.
