Frame Awards kicks off with almost 1,000 submissions
As a proud partner of the Frame Awards 2018, the ECIA is excited to announce that Frame received more than 890 submissions from over 50 countries. The Frame Awards jury members are now selecting the final nominees from hundreds of innovative and impressive interior design projects. Nominees will be announced on 2 January 2018. As of that date the public can vote on its favourite interior design on www.frameawards.com.
As Chair of the jury for the Spatial Awards category of Institutions, ECIA president Anja Dirks is taking the lead in nominating projects for Learning Space of the Year, Healthcare Centre of the Year, and Governmental Interior of the Year, as well as judging the Executional and Societal Awards. She will also weigh in during the live judging of the final nominees in each category on 21 February 2018 at the Westergasfabriek’s Gashouder in Amsterdam.
Frame Awards + Frame Lab = The industry event of the year
Honouring the world’s best interiors, the Frame Awards show on 21 February 2018 will see the best and the brightest in design and architecture gather for the announcement of the winners and prize-giving ceremony, a grand dinner, and aftershow party with jury members, VIPs, and press in attendance.
The live judging and prize-giving ceremony of the Frame Awards will take place within the context of Frame Lab. Discover the next space through an immersive blend of talks, performances, and multisensorial exhibitions at Frame Lab throughout 21 and 22 February in the Gashouder.
With an innovative installation designed by XML Architects, Frame Lab explores the future of space through the four corners of the interior design world. The four Labs centre around the auditorium, which will unfold into the main stage for the Frame Awards show on the evening of 21 February.
