New Managing Director for the bdia
Mandy Heinrichson will become Managing Director of the bdia bund deutscher innenarchitektinnen und innenarchitekten e.V. from 1 July 2024. She takes over Frithjof Jönssons position. Jönsson, who has held the management since 2019 and is leaving bdia at the end of June 2024.
Mandy Heinrichson has extensive professional experience. Most recently, as Managing Director of DDG e.V. (German Dermatological Society) and DDG Wissenschafts GmbH, she was in charge of operational association work at their Berlin office. She has also worked as a key account manager, project manager for business development and project manager for various companies in Shanghai, Bremen, Hamburg, Leipzig and London.
For the bdia, Heinrichson would like to share her experience in association management and her competencies in systemic organizational development in order to increase the external impact of the association as a forward-looking organization committed to the community . "The focus will be on strengthening the strong network of the use interior designers strategically in the face of societal changes, and to position interior design in terms of professional policy" explains Heinrichson. "I'm happy to take over the management of the bdia and to develop innovative ways with the team I am convinced that together you can achieve great things." With the change in the federal office, the bdia would like to take a further step in the in the direction of a growing, network-strong and sustainable professional association.
